About me
Sergia has a BFA in Drama from Tisch School of the Arts, NYU, where she studied at Stella Adler Studio of Acting and the Experimental Theatre Wing and Musical Theatre at Collaborative Arts Project 21. Her New York Theatre credits are far reaching including working with Broadway director Jerry Zaks in City Center Encores! Bye Bye Birdie, and working with up and coming Theatre company the PossEble Theater in Den of Thieves. She has also appeared in numerous national commercials including spots for Verizon, Cascade, Chrysler and has guest starred in TV shows The Forgotten, 3 lbs. and Guiding Light. Sergia is also an accomplished dancer with classical ballet, jazz and modern dance training. In 2007, she turned her focus to latin hustle, salsa, and partner dance and took home over 10 professional titles, including 5th place in the 2007 ESPN World Salsa Competition in Orlando, Florida. This past year she decided to uproot her life in NY to come to Los Angeles to focus mainly on film and television and has had roles in the films: The Company We Keep, Gettin High in the Barrio. Webisodes: Firmly Legal, Torte Reform, and Happy Endings: Have the Time of your Life Dying. And was the Host for The LA lifestyle show SocalNow on KCal9. She considers her modeling work as an acting job that requires depth and story, and can be just as highly adventurous!
